Sigung Alfredo Posda started his martial arts career in Mexico City
in 1994 in the style of Shoto Kan-Karate-Do under Sensi Esmerlada Roa
and Sensi Armando Hildago. After studying with them for 2 years he
decided to move to the United States.
After state side for 4 months, working and looking for a martial arts
school he found Professor Williams School, Fire Dragon Martial Arts
Institute. He started training with Professor Williams at the age of 16.
He started with Kajukenbo and earned his 1st Degree Black Belt in 1999.
During this time, he also trained in Traditional Hung-Gar and Sil-Lum-Pai
Systems of Kung Fu with Professor Williams and received his 1st Degree Black Sash.
He is also known to be an excellent competitor in the tournament circuits.
He won Grande Champion in his division in both the Oje De Agua Sikara Karate
Tournament and the Shikara Annual Karate Tournament in Mexico City. Since he
came to the United States, he has been ranked in the top 5 competitors in the
Amateur Organization of Karate Tournament circuit from 1996-99. In 2001, he won
the Grande Champion in his division at the Shaui-jao Challenge Tournament
promoted by Grande Master John Wong in Austin, TX. He has also qualified for
Super Grands from 2000-2002 and just received a Top Competitor Award for 2002
from the TNT Karate Tournament Circuit. In 2003 he was inducted to the Universal
Martial Arts Hall as Instructor Of The Year~Spiritual Kung Fu.
He currently holds a 3rd degree in American Kenpo, 6th Dan in Kajukenbo, 7th degree Zen-U-Zen, and an 8th degree Black Sash in
Hung-Fist and 8th degree black sash in Spiritual Kung Fu under Professor Moses Williams. He has created
a Kids Kung Fu Program at the Fire Dragon Martial Arts Institute of Kung Fu and
Karate. He was recently promoted to Chief Instructor under Professor Moses Williams
in Kajukenbo and Spiritual Kung Fu. He is also co-founder of the Chinese Martial Arts Association
founded by Professor Williams.
