Sigung Mark C. Medellin graduated from Southwest Texas State University with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration in 1990 and is currently a Business Systems Analyst. He also holds numerous professional certifications.

Sigung Mark was inspired by Martial Arts movies growing up but school and later earning a living were never conducive to the learning of Martial Arts. Once Mark had established himself in the business world the desire to learn Martial Arts was again rekindled. Encouraged by his friends it wasn't to late to learn he began a quest for a true Master to start his tutalidge. After a long search for a Martial Arts school Mark came to Fire Dragon Martial Arts Institute in June 2001 and started training with Professor Moses Williams II at the age of 30. Mark earned his 1st Degree Black Sash in Si-lum Pai Hung Gar Kung Fu on April 30, 2004 and received his 1st Black Belt in Kajukenbo in October 2004. Later earning a 1st degree Black Belt in American Kenpo December 2007.

Sigung Mark learns many other disciplines under Professor Williams and Sigung Alfredo including Zen-U-Zen, Chinese Boxing, Monkey Boxing, Shaolin Long Fist, Elephant Boxing, Drunken fist and Sun Chin Tai Chi. Mark’s specialty has become Jujitsu and Monkey Kung Fu.

Sigung Mark was promoted to 4th degree in Kajukenbo in March 2009. He received his 6th Degree Black Sash in Hung Fist and Northern Shaolin Monkey Style Kung Fu in January 2008 from High Priest Rick Andersen teacher of Professor Williams the Founder of Spiritual Kung and the Traditional Chinese Martial Arts Association.
